work with me

Welcome, I am an experienced Psychotherapeutic Counsellor (MNCPS Accred.) with additional specialism in working with Trauma & Young People. Here, I believe in offering a collaborative, creative and confidential space to explore what may be causing you to pause, difficulty or harm or distress in your life.

  • My core psychotherapy training is in Transactional Analysis which invites us to think about how we see ourselves, others and the world, why these patterns have been established &, most importantly, what do want do with these patterns now.

Are they helpful to you? Do they bring you joy? Do they hinder you or cause harm to you or relationships? Do they allow you to engage and connect with yourself, others and the world meaningfully, in the way you want to?

I work integratively - meaning I draw on a range of methods to suit need & I work relationally - meaning that what emerges in our relationship is often part of the therapy process.

individual counselling

Individual counselling & psychotherapy can provide a space just for you to explore whatever it is that is on your mind. I act as an observer of your process, curious about why you think or feel or behave the way you do and offer active engagement in the session to talk things through together. I offer compassion and respect; knowing that each person’s therapy journey will be as unique as they are.

  • My two clinics held from therapy rooms at the Horam Healthcare Clinic & The Wilbury Clinic in Hove offer an easily accessible, confidential space.

I am also happy to conduct sessions online.

  • Individual sessions for counselling run for 50 minutes & are charged at £55.

I offer a free phone consultation prior to booking an appointment in order to introduce myself, answer any questions you may have & check in as to what you are looking for from therapy. We can then arrange a suitable time for your first session.

relationship counselling

Relationships are complex requiring us to navigate not only the interpersonal dynamics that exist between people - how we communicate with one another, how we behave to one another, care for one another - but also the ups-and-downs of life that may impact a relationship such as bereavement, illness or financial concerns.

  • My two clinics held from therapy rooms at the Horam Healthcare Clinic & The Wilbury Clinic in Hove offer an easily accessible, confidential space large enough for couples or small groups.

I am also happy to conduct sessions online.

  • Relationship counselling & psychotherapy sessions run for 55 minutes & are charged at £80.

I offer a free phone consultation for all parties involved prior to booking an appointment in order to introduce myself, answer any questions you may have & check in as to what you are looking for from therapy. We can then arrange a suitable time for your first session.

  • Relationship counselling & psychotherapy holds the relationship as central offering a space where we can explore what is happening in the relationship dynamic - and why - to improve communication so that you feel empowered to make choices which work for you as individuals within the relationship.

I typically run session jointly, with agreed goals set at the outset of therapy and review regularly. I hold a Certificate in Couples Counselling.

I am inclusive of all relationship structure, gender and sexual diversity within my work.
